As this stunning same-sex wedding Yarra Valley shows, love is love. It doesn’t discriminate. It is pure and it is beautiful just like these two gorgeous ladies….

Maybe it’s just me, and because I can relate, but I always find documenting same-sex weddings to be highly emotional. That’s not to say that other weddings aren’t emotionally charged….not at all. But I think the fact that marriage equality is still missing in our country (even though the majority of Australians are in favour) and one that our government refuses to deal with, means that same-sex couples are marrying purely out of love for one another, regardless of the law.

And Bridie and Vanessa are the perfect example of 2 brides exuding that unbridled love and devotion for each other.

With the picturesque Yarra Valley as a backdrop, and surrounded by their adoring family and friends, they declared their love accompanied by many happy tears, flowing champagne and coloured gumboots.

Some words from Bridie….

“Nessa and I really love what you have done and the direction you have taken artistically. We knew you would bring out the goods. I hope you know how much Nessa and I appreciate your attention to detail and professional delivery. I am so glad we chose you to capture the day and I look forward to the finished package. All our guests were impressed with your personality and social grace…. we had quite a few comments. Thanks for being amazing x”

In a word, it was ‘Perfect!’  Here is how we saw their day -ENJOY!
