Carlin and Ruweka’s Barwon Heads beach wedding may not have taken place at the beach (due to intense winds) but that didn’t stop these two lovebirds from enjoying some gorgeous moments by the water….

I met Carlin whilst we were both completing the NEIS program in 2009. I used NEIS to help set up my photography business so it felt like I’d come full circle when Carlin asked me to document his beautiful wedding by the beach. It reminded me how far I’ve come since those early days and I was honoured that he’d remembered me.

Ruweka and Carlin foster greyhounds so it was important that their previous foster pup, Laddie, was part of the ceremony.

Other highlights to look out for include….

  • The Buddhist traditions incorporated into the ceremony
  • Carlin’s special walk down the aisle
  • Ruweka’s surprise at seeing their newly renovated caravan for the first time (which Carlin had worked on)
  • Absolutely stunning creative session during sunset

Here’s how I saw their day…. ENJOY!
