Initially we were thinking we wouldn’t hire a photographer as we were worried that it would feel too invasive within the intimate setting of our tiny elopement. But we are so relieved that we came across Lauren’s Instagram and decided to have a chat with her about our vision. Loz was on board immediately. She understood the brief: natural, unserious, intimate, playful, relaxed… and then she helped us develop the vision and collaborated with us to ensure she was capturing our day in all the right ways.
Loz captured each stage of our intimate, cozy, queer elopement with such warmth, humour and personability that it was like she had been on the guest list all along.

It takes a special kind of person to round up eight adults, one toddler and two dogs and take the most beautiful photos of everyone in multiple locations around the house and yard within 45 minutes.
We had the best time! Once she came through the door, she didn’t stop taking photos, making sure she captured every precious, in-between moment (many of which ended up yielding the best photos).
