What does a samesex Melbourne wedding look like?
It looks just like any other Melbourne wedding….2 people in love and it etched clearly on their faces as they say, “I DO”. Although I must admit that including a rainbow Holden ute, rainbow umbrellas and rainbow confetti did provide a day full of “colour” as these 2 gorgeous Brits tied the knot.
@howie_the_shoodle made sure his Mums looked perfect in their stunning navy suits before The Queen watched over their legally recognised ceremony (yay, UK!) at the British Consulate. Yes, The Queen, was in a frame but it still counts in my book.
Melbourne’s unpredictable weather behaved itself as Bec and Donna explored their favourite haunts, drank cocktails and danced to a busker they had hired at the last minute (after seeing him perform on Bourke St) before a second ceremony took place at the Collingwood Children’s Farm in front of their closest friends and family.
Look out for the adorable reveal, a creative shoot in a bath and a reception surrounded by Bec and Donna’s fun-filled life together.
This is how I saw their samesex Melbourne wedding or rather, Melbourne wedding.… ENJOY!

Nothing traditional about this day, so we needed a photographer to match!
Nothing phased Loz (or her partner in crime, Tee) on the wedding day, not even the boring board room at the British Consulate where we were sure we’d get ‘no good photos’, she brought such a calm energy and playful style, we had so much fun.
If she hadn’t been there as our photographer, we’d have wanted her there as our guest.
We’re blown away by these shots… beautiful moments, beautiful memories, perfectly captured. You have such a talent Loz, an ability to tell a detailed and magical story without a single word. We love you!
