Ella and Dan said “I DO” in beautiful Carousel, Albert Park but not before exploring the urban streets of Brunswick….
I always ask couples what they want their wedding to look and feel like. Is there anything special or particular that they want captured. When Dan said, “I want cobblestones and backstreets that look like a cleansweeper has been through them” I laughed and fully appreciated the comment. Grittiness without the skankiness….done!
They love Brunswick and the East Brunswick Hotel made the perfect location for a reveal. I remember telling Ella and Dan how much I love reveals (First look) and that they wouldn’t regret doing one. The pure emotion that was captured speaks for itself.
Another idea that Dan had was sitting up at the bar, pretending to order drinks. The staff and myself were more than happy to oblige and we had so much fun. These are definitely some of my favourite images from our creative session. We also spent some time around Princes Park.
Carousel, Albert Park, was the chosen location for the ceremony and reception due to its spectacular views of the Melbourne skyline. Mat Finch was the celebrant whilst Botanics of Melbourne provided the gorgeous floral arrangements.
Laughs and dancing capped off a fun day and great start to my wedding season in 2020.
This is how I saw their day – ENJOY!
Absolutely amazing photos. Lauren, you were amazing from pre-wedding meetings through to the delivery. The advice and guidance we were gifted during the process made sure our day was even better than we had expected. The photography is amazing and the candid moments you were able to photograph really encapsulated the whole day perfectly. We have beautiful photos and memories we will keep and cherish forever.
We could not recommend Lauren any higher!
Awwww Dan, thank YOU TWO so incredibly much! What a way to start the year – The best!
