Family Loved up session!
I’ve known Kylie (& Matty) for over a decade in a previous life and career. She has seen me develop from an ignorant 20 year old, working in a mind numbing corporate job, into studying as a mature aged student… Into a ‘own my own business’ Photo chick. So when she approached me asking if I would be interested in capturing her amazing little family, i was extremely honoured and chuffed! As I do for every ‘Loved-up’ session, I ask what their vision is and for them to pick a location that represents them as a family unit….
“We’ve always wanted to have some special photos taken of our son Noah but never really got around to doing it. As he lost his two front teeth recently, we thought it was time to do it. When his big teeth arrive, he will no longer be a “little boy”. We had to capture this moment in time now.
Since our friend Lauren took some awesome pics eight years ago at our wedding when she first started out, and after seeing all her incredible “Loved Up” shots on her blog, we knew we would need to call on her services again! Lauren manages to photograph beautifully, in candid shots of couples, families and friends in their homes and in their communities, the essence of the ties the bind people together. And this is was exactly what we were after….
We are so happy with the results! We feel Lauren has captured the spirit of our family and what we are about perfectly. She casually took the shots as we were talking, just like having her over to visit, but with a camera. Noah responded to her very positively, especially since he’s not the biggest fan of getting his photo taken! We are over the moon with what Lauren has produced. We absolutely love the photos she took of Noah and the three of us together.
