This rustic urban wedding had it all….including a timber yard!
Our day started in Port Melbourne where bride, Laura, dressed into her stunning wedding dress while groom, Cam, donned his dashing velvet suit.
They wanted to do a reveal also known as a first look. This is where the couple see each other for the first time BEFORE the ceremony. I absolutely LOVE doing first looks. The anticipation and emotion is palpable and Laura and Cam didn’t disappoint with Laura tearing up before she even reached Cam….adorable!
A rustic urban wedding wouldn’t be complete without a creative shoot in a timber yard. That’s correct, a timber yard. And it was AWESOME! With permission to utilise the whole yard we were able to capture different landscapes – timber (obviously), corrugated iron, forklifts and industrial lights to name a few.
We then made our way to Melbourne’s nearby iconic tramlines with the gorgeous city skyline in the background.
A beautiful ceremony and reception followed at Aerial in South Wharf.
This is how I saw their day….. ENJOY!
