An All Smiles Sorrento Wedding – sun, sand, balloons, sparklers and, not surprising, smiles all round!
Brad, an ex-Aussie Rules footballer (Carlton), swung into his day with a round of golf at the nearby golf course (see what I did there) before getting ready in the locker rooms with the rest of the boys. While Anelise and her girls kicked back in an amazing Sorrento villa.
Their wedding was at the beach facing All Smiles on the Sorrento backbench. The weather was magnificent, the champagne flowed, the balloons flew and the sparklers sparkled. These 2 gorgeous people couldn’t keep the smiles off their faces and it was an absolute pleasure to document it.

“Brad and I knew that we wanted a coastal wedding, we have had so many great times near the ocean.
Sorrento has always been a place where we have escaped the city chaos and been able to switch off and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
We wanted our wedding to really relate to how people know us as a couple, it was really a big party. We each had 6 friends in our bridal party, friends from interstate and overseas travelled to join the fun. We all arrived 2 days before the wedding and stayed in an amazing house down the road from the venue called Casino Royale. We had some fun times before the big day and everyone had the chance to get to know each other and relax.
On the day of the wedding we were blessed with perfect blue skies and the sun was shining down for us from morning till arvo. We were definitely spoilt!
Guests were treated to cocktails between the ceremony and reception while the bridal party had some quick happy snaps taken on the sand with our amazing balloon props.
The rest of the evening was filled with our family and friends circulating past the spoilt-for-choice dessert/lolly bar, the vodka infused slushy machines, fantastic photobooth and the always busy dancefloor.
As majority of our guests were staying the night in nearby holiday homes we were all picked up by buses and headed back to the bridal house for some more drinks and good times.
The following day we held a brunch at the house, catered for with a Mexican & Spanish flair, think mini tacos, nacho tower, seafood paella & chocolate dipped churros mmmmmm…what more could we ask for :)”
Words about me….
We new early on that we wanted a photographer who was going to be in-sync with us. Carefree, relaxed and informal. Lauren was just that! We wanted natural un-posed shots of us enjoying the day and that is where Lauren shines.
We could not have been happier with our pics and some are just breathtaking. They have captured the ‘feel’ of the day perfectly and that’s something we will have forever so thank you so much Lauren.
ps. also so thrilled that we got the sparklers to work for us – we have not stopped hearing compliments of those shots!
