With the stunning backdrop of Alowyn Gardens in Yarra Glen, I was delighted to see the absolute adoration in their eyes as they had their first look of one another, as well as the first looks for their parents! Ash and Tess were a fun couple, who made sure to inject that everywhere, with mum supplying handmade rainbow facemasks to keep their guests safe and the wedding a fun occasion.

Having two white wedding gowns doesn’t mean your special day needs to lack colour. For Ash and Tess, it meant that they could use every opportunity to use colour, even going so far as to creating their own bouquets and flower arrangements!

I was thrilled to be able to snap a photo of the girls just as a rainbow appears in the background of their post ceremony photos just before sunset.

And just when I thought the day couldn’t get better… As the reception kicked off, Ash and Tess surprised us all with a quick outfit change (love these!) and everyone started the party with loads of gorgeous food, catered by Happy Camper Pizza, and hilarious speeches from guests.

Yarra Valley is the perfect destination for a wedding, and it allows me to stretch my creative muscles and shoot magical moments.

Thanks so much, Tess and Amy. It was an absolute joy to photograph your special day.
This is how I saw their day – ENJOY! 🙂
