A few friends and I flew up to Sydney to celebrate and document Mardi gras (35th Anniversary)! This was my first Mardi gras and I had no idea what was ahead of me…
I had a BALL!! Admittedly, the floats weren’t as grand as I initially envisaged, but the colourful atmosphere made everyone glow!
We arrived 2-3 hours early with our $6.50 Kmart camping chairs to secure our posy (Best. Investment. EVER!!!!). I was very grateful to have scored a fab spot to watch the parade dance in front of me…It had such a positive, fun vibe which buzzed all night… It made me really proud to be who I was with such awesome humans around me.
