What does one do the morning of their Wye River coastal wedding? They go fishing!

Barwon Heads was the location for said fishing. And by “fishing”, I mean fishing for seaweed ; )

The boys then got ready in the company of Matt and Tory’s adorable german shepherd, Chief.

I then headed to an Airbnb in Wye River to document the girls getting ready.

One of my highlights was capturing Tory’s reaction to her Mum’s rare show of emotion. It’s a perfect example of why I love documentary style wedding photography – capturing real moments that tell a story.

The couple said their, “I do’s” on a spectacularly, sunny day with the gorgeous Wye River making the perfect backdrop. The stunning arbor just added to the beauty of the ceremony.

We then headed further along the river for their creative session where these guys sure knew how to work it. Is it just me or do I see the makings of some band album covers?

The night ended with the dance floor being completely carved up at The General Store, in Wye River on the picturesque Ocean Road.

Here is how I saw the day…. ENJOY!
