FIRST LOOK REVEAL / PART TWO
One of my favourite moments to document is the FIRST LOOK….or REVEAL….
The first look (reveal) involves capturing the wedding couple as they see each other for the first time. BEFORE walking down the aisle.
The surrounding is quiet and peaceful.
It’s just you, your future spouse and an unobtrusive photographer.
The anticipation and excitement is palpable.
The reactions – ALWAYS emotional.
But if you need some more convincing, here are some further advantages….
If you’re nervous about the thought of walking down the aisle this could help alleviate some of those butterflies.
If you don’t want/or have time to leave friends and family after the ceremony (in order to do a creative session) this is a great way to spend some special one-on-one time together.
It’s also a great way to add variety (different landscapes/scenery) to your images if you are having the ceremony/reception at the same location.
