I’ve known Tania since I was a kid (She’s my big brother’s best friend) so I was honoured to capture her beautiful, classic Alto Melbourne wedding….

The heavens threatened to open all morning but nothing could dampen the spirits of Tania, Frank and their families on my first wedding for the season. They prepared for their big day surrounded by loved ones. Frank at their beautiful St Kilda home and Tania at the nearby Sofitel.

They followed in the tradition of family and had their ceremony at St Thomas Aquinas in South Yarra. Frank looking adorable as he watched his wife to be walk down the aisle in a stunning Mariana Hardwick dress.

Tania and Frank didn’t have a bridal party so after they said their “I DO!” we made our way though the streets of St Kilda for the start of their creative session. We loved the staircases and art deco style of this beautiful area. We then headed towards the city by car. Tania provided snacks (So cute and thoughtful to think of the lone vegetarian…me!) whilst Frank enjoyed a sneaky bourbon.

Guilford Lane was our destination. Industrial heritage, red brick buildings, plenty of greenery, cobblestones, funky cafes and street art – my idea of heaven! And the perfect backdrop for the end of their creative session before heading to ALTO for the reception.

ALTO continued the classic Melbourne wedding feel. One of their best mates sang whilst my brother provided one of the best speeches of the night (not biased at all!). Before Joe Chalhoub got everyone up on the dance floor to dance the night away.

This is how I saw their day – ENJOY!!
